Fitting your Yurecam cover takes about 10 minutes the first time. Work on a clean, soft surface and keep the front and rear lens caps on throughout.

What's in the box
- Wrap 1 – lens hood
- Wraps 2–8 – barrel sections, numbered from the front of the lens towards the mount
- Wrap 9 – lens foot
- Wrap 10 – covers section 7 when you shoot without the lens foot
Step by step
- Lay out the wraps and prepare the lens. Unpack all ten wraps in number order. Remove the lens hood, then loosen and remove the tripod foot from the lens collar.
- Fit wrap 1 to the lens hood. Stretch the wrap over the outside of the hood and ease it down until the edges sit flush with the rim. Set the hood aside.
- Fit the barrel wraps, front to back. Hold the lens upright with the mount facing up. Slide each barrel wrap on over the mount end and roll it down into its numbered section, starting with the widest front section and working towards the mount.
- Line up the cut-outs. As each wrap goes on, rotate it so the openings sit over the focus-hold buttons, the switches and the zoom-scale window. The zoom ring wrap has a window so you can still read the focal length.
- Wrap the lens foot. Fit wrap 9 over the tripod foot, then reattach the foot to the lens collar and tighten it.
- Going handheld? Remove the tripod foot and fit wrap 10 over section 7 instead, so the collar area stays covered.
- Final check. Refit the hood, then turn the zoom ring through its full range and press each button to make sure nothing is pinched or covered.
Tips
- If a wrap feels tight, roll it on rather than pulling it, as you would a sock.
- To remove the cover, reverse the steps: hood, foot, then the barrel wraps from the mount end.
- If the wraps get wet, remove them and let them air-dry away from direct heat.
